Q 53 Yield on zero risky bond is 7.5% implied pd 16% what is the implied 1 year pd?? I bet that this q was wrong!
I don't remember really Actually, I don't want to strain my mind remembering anything right now. It's time to chill... King Louie style I'm tired of monkin around
Frankly I sat for 30 mints in the car after the exam, closing my eyes, trying get my focus again!!!! I hope my efforts will bring me " FRM " designation, I will write 3 Qs to David, excluding the one I wrote above, which again I Im sure it is wrong, the answers are totally different
I would have used the formula (1 + rfr) = (1 - PD) * (1 + yield) Let us wait for everyone's exam to get over.
Hi all ! Back from part II, with a biiiiig headache Room was overheated It didn't seem hard but i'm sure now that a made some (stupid) mistakes ... the problem is that it was easy for everyone, it willl be harder to pass :'( :'( :'( Whatever, we'll see later for results. great if I pass, no problem if i fail, then I will use all David’s new stuff for November Exam !!! I've prepared a little feeddback with few questions i remember on textfile as it's still a little fresh . I'll post it later ;o) And indeed laxmsum, there was a question where risk free rate was asked Leli
Oh well.... I guess it shows that for those who did prep properly, the tree does bear the fruit.... I did not prep nearly as much as I should have and let me tell you I frankly found it brutal. I can honnestly say I counted on one hand the number of questions I was very confident answering properly. The rest, was mostly about eliminating one of the answers and then guessing between the remainding 2 or 3. And finished a good 10 secs before they called the time up. Lucky you guys there is me to bring the curve down.... this sucks, I hate those tests....
I'm sorry to hear this Crablegs. Maybe we'll both sit again in November. Finishing early does not mean getting the right answers. Good luck anyway...you never know
